In a rapid change of Office 365, Microsoft sends to Tenant Admin’s the news about what is changing and what is coming in Office 365.

 

This is the 410th email that Microsoft has sent to Tenant Admin’s Newsletter with Office 365 changes.

Microsoft 365 Message center announced several updates and changes to Microsoft services between April 7, 2025, and April 13, 2025.

Major updates include out-of-band updates for Active Directory group policy issues, retirement of old Microsoft Search usage reports, and prompts for users to back up files in OneDrive.

New features and changes in Microsoft Teams Premium, Microsoft Defender XDR services, and Microsoft Viva Engage were highlighted.

Additional updates include enhancements to Teams Meetings Copilot, new delegation feature in Viva Pulse, and changes to Teams usage reports.

Important dates include April 30, 2025, for retiring old Microsoft Search usage reports and June 1, 2025, for modernizing External Networks in Viva Engage.

Several updates to Microsoft Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other services were mentioned, including new features, improvements, and compliance changes.

Some updates require admin actions, such as reviewing configurations, notifying users, and updating documentation.


This Weekly digest is intended to reach the Administrators of Microsoft Office 365 within the latest changes that are happening to Office 365.

Quickly access relevant information and functionality from the new home page—The home page has been redesigned with you and your most common tasks in mind—such as adding a user or resetting a password. The new admin center makes these items accessible directly from the home page. The home page also proactively surfaces information important to you, such as notifications from the Message Center.
